With the weather brightening up a little, it feels like we can take the first steps to lightening our wardrobe. Maybe getting the sandals out from the back of the cupboard and bringing those t-shirts and blouses toward to the front of our drawers. If you’re not quite ready for light colours, we’ve styled our classic black wide leg trousers with lighter layers to ease you into Spring.

Our plus size wide leg trousers are made from a mid-weight jersey so they’re comfortable to wear, super-stretchy and the high quality fabric means they don’t go out of shape. The beauty of wide leg trouser is they’re loose for Spring and Summer temperatures and look great with lots of different styles of footwear and tops.

Classic Stripes – Two Ways…

We’ve teamed our Paige wide leg trousers with the Palaya striped t-shirt to create two great looks, one casual, one for work.

Look One – Casual

Becky likes to keep her style simple and wearable; as a busy mum and full time Kasbah team member she’s looking for comfort and style. This look combines both. She’s added a khaki jacket and white trainers to create a laid back look. You could easily accessorise this look with chunky jewellery, a scarf, or swap out the khaki jacket for a denim one.

Look Two – Work

For many, this past year has completely changed the work landscape, we have found ourselves working more flexibly, often from home and that could have had an impact on how we dress. Wearing a jersey base for comfort and adding a suit jacket allows you to ease back into the workplace in style and comfort.

If you do work in quite a relaxed workplace, you could swap the mules out for a trainer, or if you prefer a smarter look, try a pair of court shoes.

The Faux Jumpsuit – Two Ways…

Have you ever wanted to try a jumpsuit, but worried about a) how it will look and b) whether you’ll get to the loo in time? (Come on now we’re all friends here!) Well, Becky has combined our Paige trousers and Tevana sleeveless top to create the look of the jumpsuit without the worry!

Look One – Casual…

This simple look can be adapted and added to, to suit your needs and taste. Becky has accessorised with a tan belt and sandals and some cute earrings, but if you prefer more coverage, add a long line shirt or a scarf draped across your shoulders for instant glam.

Look Two – Evening

All it takes are a few small swaps to turn this look from day to night. Swap out the sandals for heels, or just black ones if you prefer flats. Add some gorgeous neck wear, Becky is wearing our Nevaeh Multi-strand necklace, and drape a beautiful scarf/pashmina (Becky wears Saffron in Mandarin) around your shoulders and you’re ready for drinks, maybe a bite to eat and a spot of dancing!
